Traffic lights idea from Rae Pica's training
Traffic Lights
For this game you’ll need 3 large pieces of paper: one green, one red, and one yellow.
Hold up the green paper and invite the children to walk around the room or outdoor area, pretending that they’re driving cars.
When you hold up the yellow paper, the children walk in place.
When you hold up the red paper, the children come to a complete stop. Only the green paper can get them “driving” around again.
The concept of traffic lights falls under the heading of transportation, which is part of social studies.
Color is an element of art
